Poaching on Craigslist

I found a deal so good on Craigslist last week, I’m still pinching myself- and waiting for someone to bust through my front door to take back said deal.

There I was, just perusing Craigslist on a Saturday night (yep, you read that right) and I stumbled upon a posting for a vintage Oriental-style coffee table for $30. Clearly, I had to investigate. And this is what I found:

This picture does not even do this beautiful, HENREDON coffee table justice. The wood is GLEAMING and in perfect condition. The guy I bought it from didn’t want to haul such a “heavy table” to his new college apartment in Greenville. Little does he know, his grandmother is crying in a corner somewhere after hearing he sold a family antique for less than one pays for 1.7 ounces of Bobbi Brown concealer. And now it sits proudly in my living room. Boom.

I kind of feel bad. Kind of.
