Excellence is not an act, but a habit

WE ARE WHAT WE REPEATEDLY DO
As part of July bootcamp, our trainers have issued us a 30-Day Paleo Challenge. The winner gets a free month of bootcamp plus a Lululemon gift. As tempting and awesome as that sounds, I’m going to be honest here and acknowledge the fact that I’m probably not going to come close to winning this. Here’s what you can eat on the Paleo diet:
-Meat-Vegetables-Almonds, cashews, pistachios-Fish-Greens-Berries in limited quantities-Olive oil, coconut oil
The list of what you CAN’T eat on the Paleo diet is too long for this blog post, but suffice it to say that it is extremely restrictive.
While I’m not going to follow it to the letter, (wine is a food group in my mind), I am going to try to adopt some of the foods/strategies into my routine and see if that leads to better results with my workouts and body. Stay tuned. Have any of you done this diet or still do this diet? What are your thoughts on it?
