Country Mouse plans a trip to the big city
In March, I’m traveling to Las Vegas for the first time to celebrate a dear friend’s bachelorette party. The last time I was on the West Coast was two years ago in L.A. on a girls trip visiting another great friend. Basically, I stressed about what to wear for a month or so, finally found what I thought was a really cute French Connection dress and when I wore it out the first night in...

Weekly edition: Middleton Mondays
A few weeks ago, a reader suggested I add a weekly focus to my blog (great suggestion!) After some careful pondering, I think I am going to do Middleton Mondays. It will primarily focus on Kate, but there may be some Pippa (aka She Who Must Not Be Named) and even Carol shots on occasion. Peeta wears flip flops; dreams are crushed

Fellow Tumblrs- technical question for you
How do I embed gifs in my text portion of my posts? I click on the photo icon, but it asks me to put a URL to the image. I also tried drag/drop and copy/paste with no luck (it just pastes it as a URL.)
Please help! I have so many good ones now that stickyheels offered hers up!
Thanks for your help!
thebluehour asked: I think you should have a feature to compliment Loafers' "BL Mondays". Maybe Ryan Gosling Wednesdays or Springsteen Song Saturdays or something. Totes your call on the medium, just throwing it out there. PS -- glad your're tumbling, really enjoying your posts!

Uz-making me crazy
Lately, I’ve been noticing a lot of Indian, Morroccan and Middle Eastern-inspired textiles in home decorating blogs mixed in with other, more traditional elements. I’m kind of feeling it, but a little scared to try and re-create the look in my own home (although it would be a really great nod to my Country Club Gypsy-wannabe style.) I think throw pillows are a great way to delve into...
